About Us

On Jan. 12, 2011, the last remaining transitional woodland habitat in the San Gabriel Mountain watershed was destroyed by the LA County Dept. of Public Works (DPW) to make room for a sediment disposal site.

Following the demolition of this oak woodland in Arcadia, a coalition of individuals joined forces to form the Urbanwild Network. More >>
